Head Instructors

Kyle FitzPatrick

Kyle is our head instructor here at GJJLI. He was introduced to martial arts at the young age of 10 years old. Due to his dedication and pure enjoyment, Kyle received his Brown Belt in Kenpo Karate in 5 years. Throughout high school, Kyle played on multiple Varsity level sport teams such as Football and Track & Field and received various awards and honors. Having grown up with a passion for helping others, he pursued a young career in personal training and earned the nationally recognized AAPTE Certification.  He has a true desire to teach and implement what it takes to reach a healthy balanced lifestyle. Once he received the  AAPTE Certification, Kyle started to explore other martial arts and was introduced to Gracie University. Kyle began training with his father and brothers Sean and Ryan and quickly became intrigued by the Gracie techniques and all it has to offer. Kyle  enrolled in the Instructor Certification Program and graduated in July 2013. Coupled with this great achievement, Kyle also graduated from college earning Deans List honors as well as National placement in the 100M & 200M in Track and Field.  We opened a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Certified Training Center in Point Lookout,  New York in December 2013. If you are in town, please stop by, we look forward to meeting you!

Sean FitzPatrick

Sean FitzPatrick, is one of the three older brothers to Kyle. He completed the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Instructor Certification in July of 2014, with Ryan the third amigo to the trio of instructors.  Sean trained in kickboxing for many years, but when Sean was introduced to Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in 2010 by his father he was instantly hooked. Sean has said "it was fun and so much less stressful on your body then any other martial art". We focus on our techniques to build our strength, and confidence. It is the best martial art around and anyone can learn it and we over at our Gracie Jiu-Jitsu CTC in Point  Lookout, New York  love to teach it.
Ryan FitzPatrick

Ryan FitzPatrick, is the middle child between Kyle and Sean, ironically, also the middle child to 5 siblings. He completed the  Gracie Jiu-Jitsu certification in July of 2014, with Sean. He trained in kickboxing and Kenpo Karate for many years. Also, while attending Kellenberg Memorial High School he was excellent at Tae Kwon Do. He, like Sean was introduced to Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in 2010 by their Father.  Ryan, became a student of the craft.  Sharing the same viewpoints with Sean, Ryan believes it is the best form of martial arts around the world and anyone can learn it.  Ryan, would love for anyone to come and embrace the journey to learn the art like we have.
